Limp-Wristed Liberal Pawn of the Leftist Elite

I understand pro-gun (or anti-disarmament) people are quick to bring up the argument that reduced proliferation of firearms would only empower criminals and make citizens more vulnerable, and that’s valid to a point, but I rarely hear any of them come up with alternative ideas for reducing gun-related homicides. Except on occasion, something like “kill all the criminals.” I don’t get that.
